Upper Hutt Self Storage now have two storage facilities, both within close proximity to the CBD and River Road. Our facilities give you access 24 hours a day, seven days a week – simply drive up and park next to your storage unit for easy loading and unloading.
1066 Fergusson Drive (Waitomo) Complex
This complex has a mixture of storage units and shipping containers available for hire. These are secured with your own personal padlock. The complex is fully fenced and gated plus has 24/7 CCTV monitoring in place.*

Our small storage units can accommodate the contents of a 1 bedroom apartment such as a double bed, chest of drawers, small fridge,desk, a couple of chairs and small boxes or business storage.

These storage units can accommodate the contents of a 2 bedroom house such as a queen bed, chest of drawers, fridge, table and chairs, a couple of small couches and small boxes.

Between 27 and 36 m3
This size storage unit can fit the contents of a standard 3 bedroom house.
They are also suitable for storing the contents of a small office or business, and for recreational storage or small car (if access allows).

2.5 m x 6m
This size storage container can fit the contents of a standard 4 bedroom house.
They are also suitable for storing the contents of a small office or business, and for recreational storage.

Access to this storage site is gained by a coded security gate connected to your cell phone, with your personal padlock fitted on your unit, so you can rest assured that your belongings are kept safe and secure at all times.*

This complex has two sizes of waterproofed shipping containers available for hire which are secured with your own personal padlock. The complex is fully fenced and gated plus has 24/7 CCTV monitoring in place.

This size storage unit can fit the contents of a standard 2 bedroom apartment.
They are also suitable for business, recreational and document storage needs.

2.5 m x 6m
This size storage unit can fit the contents of a standard 4 bedroom house.
They are also suitable for storing the contents of a small office or business, and for recreational storage.

* Please note:
- Prices are subject to change.
- Storage units must be rented for a minimum 4 week term.
- An upfront payment of 4 weeks storage fee in advance and a deposit will be required before access is given.
- There is no power available inside the units themselves.
- It is recommended that you cover with plastic any delicate or valuable items – units can condensate in very cold weather.
- Your goods are not insured by Upper Hutt Self Storage. This remains your responsibility.
